 184839577/\n\nWe are very lucky to have such talented Comedians willing to
  entertain us for free so we can raise funds for a Green MP for Worcester.
 \n\nBack in June we held our biggest comedy night to date and had a wonder
 fully entertaining time whilst raising over £1\,300 for the local party.\
 n\nDave Flynn our fabulous MC and our very own member Comedian is assembli
 ng another troupe of talent for September the 4th.\n\nLet's see if we can 
 hit an even bigger audience number than last time and lift the roof off. W
 ith the following line up we should do just that.\n\nAbbie Hale is a surre
 alist character comedian from Wolverhampton. A finalist for the Birmingham
  Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award\, Abbie bring a unique brand of bea
 utiful chaos to the stage. Specialising in unhinged characters you would a
 bsolutely hate to spend any time with\, her creations range from and inebr
 iated children's entertainer to human irritant\, Madeleine Jimp\, the tale
 ntless yet fame hungry superstar. Abbie is proof you can make a career out
  of being the most annoying person in the room.\n\nSachin won the WOW Awar
 d for Best Debut Show at the 2023 Edinburgh Fringe\, stars in the BBC One 
 prime time TV show This is My House\n\nHe was a Finalist in the national s
 tandup competitions Manford's New Act of the Year\, and Leicester Square T
 heatre New Comedian of the Year  as well as being shortlisted for the BBC

 With some comics there's a moment where you ask yourself    I wonder how m
 uch of this is true?'\, with Nick Page you might hope it isn't true\, but 
 somehow know that it is\, mostly. His shows are full to bursting with stor
 ies from a life lived on the edge of (self inflicted) disaster.\n\nIn his 
 shows there are no songs\, props or padding\, just stories packed with jok
 es from start to finish. The Guardian Newspaper described him as     A bea
 r like man with a host of barely believable stories about life\, love and 
 brushes with the law'.\n\nIn the last few years he has won the prestigious
  title    English Comedian of the Year'\, performed at comedy festivals in
  3 continents and been awarded the Operational Service Medal by the Britis
 h army for numerous gigs in warzones\, doing everything from shows in Camp
  Bastion and Kandahar for 5000 troops at a time\, to being helicoptered to
  perform for 20 soldiers in a patrol base in the desert.\n\nHe's reached t
 he live finals of Britain's Got Talent despite having never watched the sh
 ow. A typical week in the UK might see performances in pubs and theatres b
 efore a weekend run at a comedy club. Between cruises and expat bookings h
 e's now performed in over half the world's countries\, and even kept busy 
 during covid lockdown performing over 100 online gigs from a studio in his
  garage.\n\nFurther acts to be announced\n\nThis is an ideal event to intr
 oduce the Green Party to your friends and family\, especially the broad mi
 nded ones.\n\nThere will of course be a bar staffed by our Councillors and
  members. Last time we had to top up the bar from Asda half way through. P
 rices are reasonable and there will be a wide range of alcoholic and soft 
 drinks and snacks.\n\nRaffle prizes will include Green Party Merchandise a
 nd other contributions from members.
