 and this summer\, with performances taking place on the second and fourth 
 Sunday of each month.\n\nTaking to the bandstand this week  is the Alveley
  Village Band \n\nAlveley Village Band has its historic roots in the beaut
 iful Shropshire village of Alveley\, between Kidderminster and  Bridgnorth
 .\n\nFounded by Mr. Colin Jones\, M.B.E.\, in 1990\, the Band's membership
  is broad and unique having had a range of members from ages 10 to 85  Pla
 yers of any age and any ability are welcome to join.\n\nThe band performs 
 regularly at concerts\, fetes and other events. Previous venues include St
 . Mary's Church\, Alveley\, St Mary's and St. Leonard's Churches\, Bridgno
 rth\,  Himley Hall\, and the"Proms" concert at The Three Horseshoes\, Alve
 ley.\n\nIn partnership with Big Bear Music. The performances are included 
 with admission to the Gardens.
