 ht is John Etheridge who rightly enjoys a glowing reputation throughout th
 e jazz world and beyond and has been described by Pat Metheny as\, "One of
  the best guitarists". He is a prodigiously gifted and creative player who
 se approach to music can only be described as 'eclectic' as he refuses to 
 accommodate or even acknowledge artificial musical boundaries.He is a regu
 lar guest on Jazz Line-up -most recently a live duo set from the Bath Fest
 ival with pianist John Horler\, and is often a guest on Radio3's In Tune p
 rogramme.\n\nSunday sees a triple bill of artists from Welsh instrumentali
 st Toby Hay\, Jazz duo Gina Griffin and Andy Christie (who you may have se
 en at our Sofa Sessions) and local folk outing The Picture Framers.\n\nTob
 y Hay is a Welsh guitarist and composer based in the Cambrian Mountains\, 
 renowned for his intricate\, nature-inspired instrumental folk music. His 
 work\, deeply connected to landscape\, memory\, and Welsh hiraeth\, includ
 es albums like The Gathering and New Music for the 12 String Guitar\, ofte
 n featuring his own Cambrian Records label.\n\nGina and Andy perform origi
 nal arrangements of jazz standards and Hot Club. Gina's unique command ove
 r the violin\, often scat singing in harmony is mesmerising and Andy's cle
 an polished jazz guitar in the vein of Metheny and Etheridge underpins the
  violin harmonies perfectly. This is classic perfect Sunday music vibes.\n
 \nThe Picture Framers are Viv Sherman\, a singer and songwriter based in N
 orth Wiltshire. Guitarist for Pack Horse Ceilidh band and occasionally oth
 er bands too. Often seen playing in music sessions in his local area. Viv 
 also uses melodeon to achieve drones\, chords and simple melodies in the s
 ongs to compliment Chez's banjo playing. The other half of The Picture Fra
 mers is Chez Dunford\, an independent musician performing both self-penned
  and traditional folk songs. Based in Bristol and the Forest of Dean. She 
 plays piano accordion\, banjo and occasionally trumpet. Chez is a theatre 
 maker\, circus artist and community practitioner using music and story to 
 connect people.\n\nAll is the gorgeous Hayloft setting of The Three Cups I
 nn\nWe serve lovely meat free meals and pizzas and serve real ales - usual
 ly Timothy Taylor\, HPA and Bristol Beer Factory.  \n\nWe do Barista coffe
 e\, loose leaf teas and a range of great soft and alcoholic beverages incl
 uding many Zero offerings. \n\nNearest parking Station Road\, then head up
  Mill Lane and down Abbey Row (about 8 mins walk in total)\n\nStay at Malm
