 \n\nMixed Media &amp\; Appliqué - Flowers in a Vase\n\nTheresa will guide
  you through a range of techniques to create this vibrant artwork. Learn h
 ow to create a painted background on calico using acrylic paints. Use a ra
 nge of stencils to create additional decorative effects. Upholstery fabric
  scraps will be used to the create the vase and a variety of different flo
 wers and foliage. These will be free-motion stitched to the background. Ea
 ch piece of art will work will be completely individual.\n\nSome knowledge
  of free-motion stitch will be required to participate in this workshop. S
 tudents are asked to bring their own machines which will require a machine
  where the feed dogs can be dropped. An embroidery or darning foot and bob
 bins suitable for your own machine will also be and required.\n\nAll other
  materials\, tools and an apron will be provided.\n\nRefreshments will be 
 provided but please bring your own lunch (approx. 30min)
