 e take a little longer to meet the right person     someone who understand
 s them\, appreciates their unique personalities\, and is willing to give t
 hem the time they need to truly shine.\n\nThis week we are shining a light
  on five fantastic dogs who have been at the Shelter for far too long - Oz
 \, Mowgli\, Ripley\, Dexter and Pumpkin.\n\nIf you think you could offer o
 ne of these wonderful dogs the fresh start they deserve\, join us at our s
 pecial event on Saturday 23rd May to learn more about them.\n\nWe know tha
 t these dogs would benefit hugely from spending time in a home environment
 \, so we will also consider foster applications. Fostering not only gives 
 them a much-needed break from kennel life\, but also helps us learn more a
 bout them so we can give potential adopters even more information about th
