Sheep Music presents: PRESTEIGNE FIREWORKS on Saturday 8th November.
Torch and lantern lit procession leaves recycling centre car park (opposite Memorial Hall) at 6.15 pm, with the firework display at Went’s Meadow, Presteigne LD8 2BW at 6.45 pm. Entrance: £5 cash only, under 12s free.
This year, Sheep Music has commissioned The Fetch Theatre to run lantern-making workshops in the primary school and in the community. The lanterns and the company will be part of the procession alongside local fire artist John Bray.
The firework display at Went’s Meadow will be preceded by the lighting of this year’s fire sculpture designed by Owen Rimington. Fireworks start at 6.45 pm.
We are pleased to be presenting this special evening once again and have received a grant from the town council towards the cost of the fireworks.
Make a lantern for the procession: Lantern Making Workshop with The Fetch Theatre at the Memorial Hall, Presteigne, at 6.30-8.30pm on Tuesday 4th November.
