A varied programme of talks, organised by the Friends of the Red House Museum and held in the Main Gallery on the ground floor. The talks start at 2:00pm.
Members and non-members are welcome.

The Tudor Ladies A presentation by Janice Curtis and colleague on Tudor life at Court.
29 April 2026:
History in the Landscape A presentation by Brian Margetson.
13 May 2026:
Astronomy in Prehistory (How to avoid being eaten by a shark ) – Kate Earl presents this subject, following her very interesting talk on the Solar System last year.
3 June 2026:
Who Planned the Victorian Railways – and did they get it right? – A welcome return visit from Colin Divall, Emeritus Professor of Railway Studies at York University. (This talk could not take place last season and is fully booked.)

Booking with payment in advance ensures your seat for our popular talks on the day. Please visit reception at the Red House Museum (open Tues-Sat 10-4, Sun 12-4) to book and pay. Telephone reservations made by calling the Museum on 01202 482860 will require payment card details. Walk-ins on the day may be disappointed.
