Join us for Picnic & Parade in the Park, a celebration of Disability Pride, inclusion and Birmingham’s wider community.
Taking place at Queen’s Park in Harborne, the event will bring people together for a colourful Disability Pride parade, live entertainment, community stalls, local organisations and a relaxed picnic in the park.
We want to fill Queen’s Park with colour and personality. Participants are encouraged to wear colourful clothing or fancy dress, bring flags and banners, and decorate wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other mobility equipment.
Parade entry costs £5 per person and includes a commemorative tote bag filled with goodies and offers from local businesses.
One carer can attend free with each registered participant.
You don’t have to take part in the parade to attend. Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy the entertainment, visit the stalls, bring a picnic and cheer participants on from the sidelines.
