Live music returns to the Gardens’ iconic bandstand this summer, with performances taking place on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.
Taking to the bandstand this week is the Alveley Village Band
Alveley Village Band has its historic roots in the beautiful Shropshire village of Alveley, between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth.
Founded by Mr. Colin Jones, M.B.E., in 1990, the Band’s membership is broad and unique having had a range of members from ages 10 to 85 Players of any age and any ability are welcome to join.
The band performs regularly at concerts, fetes and other events. Previous venues include St. Mary’s Church, Alveley, St Mary’s and St. Leonard’s Churches, Bridgnorth, Himley Hall, and the”Proms” concert at The Three Horseshoes, Alveley.
In partnership with Big Bear Music. The performances are included with admission to the Gardens.
